Abstract | In science, there are different problems to be solved. One of them is the evolution of the Universe. This paper discusses a little piece of the cited problem, which is the evolution of the black holes. From nowadays, observations show super-massive black holes with mass about 109M3 are ubiquitous in galaxy centers. However, the origin of this kind of object is not completely understood yet. A possibility rely in the fact the super-massive black holes (SMBH) seeds had their origin in the death of the Population III stars, during the called Dark Cosmological Ages at redshift in the interval z = [10, 20]. In order to verify this hypothesis, the first step is to try to reconstruct the SMBH mass function at high redshift. The next step is to do a comparison between the computed distribution with the reminiscent of the first stars. |
