The main goal of this research is to find the relative orbits of these satellites that, at least in the linear Hill-Clohessy-Wiltshire model, ensure finite relative motion and keep the volume and shape of the tetrahedron configuration. Since real motions of these satellites will differ from the linear ones, especially under the influence of the perturbation, active control is necessary. In addition, the limited size of the satellites does not allow us to use a complex 3-axis attitude control system. In the present paper we consider the passive magnetic attitude control system and suppose that the thrust direction is always aligned with the local geomagnetic field. In order to increase mission lifetime the control algorithm that minimizes the propellant consumption and keeps the tetrahedron volume and shape is investigated. %8 Sept. %N 9 %9 journal article %T Tetrahedron formation of nanosatellites with single-input control %@electronicmailaddress smirnov@math.uminho.pt %@electronicmailaddress %@electronicmailaddress %@electronicmailaddress antonio.prado@inpe.br %@secondarytype PRE PI %K Formation flying, Single-input control, Tetrahedral formation. %@archivingpolicy denypublisher denyfinaldraft12 %@usergroup self-uploading-INPE-MCTI-GOV-BR %@usergroup simone %@group %@group %@group %@group DIDMC-CGETE-INPE-MCTIC-GOV-BR %@tertiarymark Trabalho não Vinculado à Tese/Dissertação %@secondarymark B1_GEOCIÊNCIAS B3_MATEMÁTICA_/_PROBABILIDADE_E_ESTATÍSTICA B3_ASTRONOMIA_/_FÍSICA %@issn 0004-640X %2 sid.inpe.br/mtc-m21c/2018/09.05.12.02.55 %@affiliation %@affiliation %@affiliation %@affiliation Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) %B Astrophysics and Space Science %@versiontype publisher %P e180 %4 sid.inpe.br/mtc-m21c/2018/09.05.12.02 %@documentstage not transferred %D 2018 %V 363 %@doi 10.1007/s10509-018-3400-4 %A Smirnov, G.
