In this paper, we present an artifact designed from a set of patterns to support agile teams to plan and manage software analysis activities, named Software Analytics Canvas. Further, we report the study undertaken to evaluate the ease of use and the utility of our canvas from the practitioners viewpoint, and a participatory design session carried out to collect information about possible artifact improvements. In general, subjects found the artifact useful, but some of them reported difficulties in learning and understanding how to use it. In the participatory design, they pointed out improvement points and a new layout for the canvas components. The results of both studies helped us refine the proposed artifact, improving both the terms used in each element and the layout of the blocks to make more sense for its users. %T Towards an artifact to support agile teams in software analytics activities %@isbn 1891706489 %@electronicmailaddress jh.choma@hotmail.com %@electronicmailaddress eduardo.guerra@inpe.br %@electronicmailaddress silvadasilva@unifesp.br %@electronicmailaddress lzaina@ufscar.br %@electronicmailaddress filipe.correia@fe.up.pt %@nexthigherunit 8JMKD3MGPCW/3ESGTTP 8JMKD3MGPCW/3F2PHGS %@secondarytype PRE CI %K software analytics, agile teams, decision making, software data. %8 10-12 July %@usergroup self-uploading-INPE-MCTI-GOV-BR %@usergroup simone %@group CAP-COMP-SESPG-INPE-MCTIC-GOV-BR %@group LABAC-COCTE-INPE-MCTIC-GOV-BR %@tertiarymark Trabalho não Vinculado à Tese/Dissertação %@secondarykey INPE--PRE/ %@issn 23259000 %2 sid.inpe.br/mtc-m21c/2019/09.03.11.27.06 %@affiliation Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) %@affiliation Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) %@affiliation Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP) %@affiliation Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar) %@affiliation Universidade do Porto (UP) %@versiontype publisher %I Knowledge Systems Institute Graduate School %4 sid.inpe.br/mtc-m21c/2019/09.03.11.27 %@documentstage not transferred %D 2019 %@doi 10.18293/SEKE2019-146 %S Proceedings %A Choma, Joelma, %A Guerra, Eduardo Martins, %A Silva, Tiago Silva da, %A Zaina, Luciana A.
